Platypus® 30-count Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) for the Platypus T130 (30-count) floss picks (UPC 858813002007) is set at $7.99 for 1 individual bag when selling online.

• This MAP policy excludes in-store distribution.

• This MAP policy applies to all authorized online retailers, distributors, and resellers of Platypus floss picks.

• Authorized sellers may not advertise the Platypus 30-count floss picks at a price below the established MAP of $7.99 per bag on any online platform, including but not limited to websites, marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, eBay), social media ads, and email campaigns.

• Violations of this MAP policy related to online distribution will result in the following consequences:​

1. First offense: written warning and request for corrective action.

2. Second offense: temporary suspension of ordering privileges.

3. Third offense: termination of partnership with PlatypusCo.

• Platypus reserves the right to monitor online advertised prices through various means, including automated tracking tools, customer reports, and third-party monitoring services.

• Platypus may grant exemptions for limited-time online promotions or special events. Requests for exemptions must be submitted in writing and approved in advance by Platypus.

 

This tailored MAP policy focuses on regulating online advertising practices while allowing flexibility for in-store promotions. It helps ensure fair competition among online retailers and maintains the brand value of Platypus floss picks across digital platforms.​
